The Law around Marijuana

The current law in New Zealand for cannabis is if you are caught by police with possession of cannabis the penalties can range from a $500 fine to 14 years in prison, but for the cultivation or (growing) of cannabis the penalties can range from a $2000 fine or 7 year jail term or an immediate 2 year jail term (depending on amount).

I found this information from this website http://www.police.govt.nz/advice/drugs-and-alcohol/cannabis-and-law and I know this information to be true because its the official New Zealand Police website.

The new bill suggested to parliament is the use of medicinal marijuana for terminally ill people and I found this information on this site https://www.parliament.nz/en/get-involved/topics/all-current-topics/changes-to-new-zealand-s-drug-laws-proposed-by-medicinal-cannabis-bill/.

Should marijuana be legal in New Zealand?

Should  marijuana be legal in New Zealand?
Yes it should be legal but only for medicinal uses prescribed by doctors but then also a no because  people could abuse the drug and could become an addiction for people that use it too much.

If marijuana is an illegal substance then why isn't alcohol illegal too because it has a more harmful effect on people than weed.

Should Facebook be banned?

Should Facebook be banned?
Should Facebook be banned is a very important question these days and could have a for and against argument, but personally I feel like it should be because too many students ignore their class work to text friends and watch videos and get distracted very easily but sometimes is useful if you need to maybe text family to see if they're okay.

A Galaxy is something that contains a solar system and our galaxy is named the "milky way"  named from its band of light formed by the stars.

Bill Gates' Rules to Life

Bill gates' rules to life.
The rule I chose to blog about is his rule number 6 which is
"If you mess up, its not your parents fault, so don't whine about your mistake learn from them."
Why I like this rule is because for me it means to be independent and not to always rely on your parents or others when you make a mistake, but to take responsibility for your actions good or bad.
An example of this is when I mess up in class not to blame the teacher for my actions and just take responsibility for my own mistakes.

Mike King Experience

Something I learnt from listening to Mike King is that there is people you can go talk to when you feel like you cant talk to other people, or strategies or ways to help if you feel depressed or going through something.
Something that I can do is just find a friend and just talk to them.
Something interesting I thought about Mike King is that even though hes a comedian and he gets paid heaps that not everyone with a lot of money has a happy life and that he used to be a alcoholic and former drug abuser.
